How percentages work
A percentage is a fraction of 100. To find X% of a number, multiply the number by X and divide by 100. For example, 15% of 200 is (200 × 15) / 100 = 30. To find what percentage one number is of another, divide the first by the second and multiply by 100. For other calculations, try the loan EMI calculator or the age calculator.
