How to edit a PDF

Open your PDF by dragging it onto the editor or clicking "browse." Use the toolbar to select a tool — Text to add text, Draw for freehand annotations, Highlight to mark important sections. When done, click "Download Edited PDF" to save. Your original file is never modified — the download is a new copy with your changes. You can also compress the PDF afterward to reduce file size.

Your PDF stays on your device

Safe File Tools processes the PDF entirely in your browser using pdf.js (for rendering) and pdf-lib (for saving). The file is never uploaded to any server. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet — the editor still works.
