How to use the meta tag generator
Fill in your page title, description, URL, and an optional social share image. The tool generates a complete set of meta tags — including SEO basics, Open Graph tags (used by Facebook, LinkedIn, and most messaging apps), and Twitter Card tags — as you type. Copy the result and paste it inside the <head> section of your HTML page.
Length guidelines
- Title — aim for 50-60 characters so it doesn't get cut off in search results
- Description — aim for 150-160 characters for the best display in Google
The character counters turn orange when you go over the recommended length.
What the tags do
- Title & description — what appears in Google search results
- Canonical — tells search engines the preferred URL for the page
- Open Graph — controls how the page looks when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp
- Twitter Card — controls the preview when shared on Twitter/X
