How to compress an image to an exact file size
Add your image (or several), choose a target — for example 100 KB — using a preset or by typing your own number, then click "Compress to Target." How the tool hits your target
JPEG and WebP support a quality setting from low to high. The tool re-encodes your image at different quality levels using a fast search, homing in on the highest quality that still fits your target. That keeps the image as sharp as possible while meeting the size limit. Very small targets on large images may not be reachable at full resolution — in that case, resize the image smaller first, then compress.
Your images stay on your device
This tool uses the HTML5 Canvas API to process images entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet — it still works.
